Masha Dowell as October Owens


Masha Dowell plays ambitious unemployed neighbor October Owens in “The Telecommuters.”

Masha was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She began acting as a freshman at Tri-Cities High School magnet program for performing arts (drama).  After high school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science at North Carolina A&T State University.  She studied Media studies at Howard University, and screenwriting at UCLA’s writer’s extension program. Masha has studied acting at TVI Actor’s studio in Hollywood, Raleigh Little Theater, and scene study with famed acting coach Vera Katz. She studied screenwriting with Bill Idelson, the late two-time WGA winning television writer for “The Andy Griffin show” and “Get Smart.”

She conducted scientific research (Identity testing, Cancer, HPV, HBV, West Nile Virus) on the behalf of LabCorp, National Genetics Institute, & Pharmavite, LLC. In addition, she worked in Quality Assurance/Metrology at Baxter Healthcare, and Quality Management at Calibrate, Inc. While still working in the sciences full-time, Masha gained experience in Hollywood, by interning in the Television Development departments of several production companies: Edmonds Entertainment, SimmonsLathan Media Group, and Revelations Entertainment. After several years in the sciences, Masha, transitioned professionally, into the arts and business with the launch of her company, Global Culture Science Brands. She is a member of the United Nations Association-USA and has served on the board of Women In Film & Television of Atlanta.

Leanna Adams Plays Ann Blair Koslov


Leanna Adams plays quirky lovestruck neighbor Ann Blair Koslov on “The Telecommuters.”

Leanna was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. After graduation, Leanna moved to Manhattan and studied acting for film and television at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Since leaving New York, she has lived in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and taught English and American culture at a small college in Wuhu, China. A freelance writer since 2006, Leanna returned to Atlanta in June of 2011 and has been pursuing an acting career ever since.

Leanna is co-writer, creator and producer of “The Telecommuters.” She also published her memoir, Pretty Woman Spitting: An American’s Travels in China, on January 23, 2012, Chinese New Year.  She co-authored a business book for women in 2008, The Chic Entrepreneur: Put Your Business in Higher Heels, and is the founder of Loose Type Productions, a production company dedicated to making television, film and new media works with a focus on women the way they really are - hilarious.

Kyle Lewis as Chad James

Kyle D. Lewis plays ruthless marketing consultant Chad James on “The Telecommuters.”

Kyle is an Atlanta-based actor.  Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Kyle grew up in Dallas, Georgia, and spent a few years in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a pit-crew member for some of the top drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series including Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson.

He’s traveled all over the country and internationally, working on cars and trying to win races. A fast-paced career, Kyle loved NASCAR and felt fortunate to be able to experience such an exhilarating endeavor, but deep down he knew his first love was acting. So he made the tough decision to quit racing and chase his dream. Kyle moved back to Atlanta in early 2011 to pursue his acting career full-time.

An adrenaline junkie, when Kyle’s not on set, you can find him shooting guns, jumping out of planes, scuba diving, rock climbing and anything else he can try to push himself to new heights. He loves to take risks and experience life to the fullest.

Jason Carey plays Larry Reed


Jason Carey plays October’s good-natured love interest Larry on Season One of “The Telecommuters.”  
Jason is an an actor, entrepreneur, recording artist, 2011 Playdate USA Host of the Year, commercial producer, script writer, award winning director, author, youth role model, entertainer and a NC A&T Alumni! Vince Canlas as Director Li


Vince plays the caring and closeted Director Li on “The Telecommuters.”

Born in Manila, Philippines, Vince moved with his family to Los Angeles, where his aunt worked for ABC Studios. He now claims it was there that he got bit by the acting bug. However, it wasn't until after college in North Carolina when he moved to Atlanta that the bug caused a fever and he enrolled at the Alliance Theater for two years of training and eventually signed with his first agent.

Twenty six years later, Vince is still energized by the business. When he's not on-camera, he's still on camera, but behind it, working in corporate video production and photography as he has for the past twenty years. Vince has a seventeen-year-old son, Branden, who is equally excited and active as an actor in Florida.

Ravi Naidu as Ashish Patel


Ravi Naidu plays no-nonsense IT guy Ashish Patel on “The Telecommuters.”

Ravi is a proud native Atlantan and has lived here all his life. He even got his degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech.

Ravi’s parents were part of the original invasion into America that started with one Indian traveling over and reporting back that America needed major help running gas stations and budget hotels...your welcome! Growing up it was a tough decision whether to speak with an Indian or Southern accent. So, Ravi decided to split the difference and speak in Slumdog Redneck. Ravi really enjoys comedic and dramatic acting (you may have seen him working a sweet jewelry scam on Homeland), improv and standup. When he’s not on set, you’ll find him cycling around Atlanta.

Bradford Haynes As Eddie Mosley

Bradford Haynes plays XiaoT employee Eddie Moseley on “The Telecommuters.”  

Bradford grew up in Georgia, and is the oldest of four children.  He excelled in academics and athletics from a young age.  Receiving scholarship offers from several colleges, one being the Prestigious West Point Military Academy, he went on to attend Wofford College on a baseball scholarship.  There he majored in finance and minored in business economics while thriving on the baseball field.

It was at Wofford that Bradford began to have a passion for acting.  He took production classes, and produced commercials and other projects for the school.  Before becoming an actor, Bradford was once signed to Wilhemina Models of PA.  Among his many upcoming roles, the most recent was signing on to be one of the Dads for Graco Baby products 2011-2012 campaign.  You will also see Bradford during the upcoming season of Teen Wolf as Deputy Bungalon.

Dominick Racano as Ralph 


Dominick Racano plays nervous XiaoT employee Ralph Farruggio in “The Telecommuters.”

Dominick is a professional actor.  He lives in idyllic Stockbridge, Georgia, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Atlanta.  Born in the Bronx, Dominick, is the youngest of five children. Growing up in a large, and often loud Italian family led him to channel his energy and humor into entertaining friends and keeping out of trouble in his neighborhood. Like others before him, Dominick got bogged down in the ratrace of corporate America, but he continued to use humor as his outlet for stress; performing stand-up around town. Really enjoying the creative writing side and the platform to perform, Dominick decided to start acting in film, television and improv. This led to his decision to walk away from a secure career to pursue what he truly loves - entertaining people.

Nancy Tran Plays Ming


Nancy Tran plays feminist administrative assistant Ming Wu on “The Telecommuters.”

Nancy was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. She moved to the Big City of the South - Atlanta - and graduated from Georgia State University. Nancy worked in the finance department at TBS, Inc. for five years, but her interest in other areas of the entertainment industry continued to grow, so she decided to pursue a career in acting.

Nancy is a partner of a media group called Tiny Anarkist and is currently working on her first series of children's books.

When Nancy's not acting or writing, you'll find her riding her motorcycle (she owns a black 2007 Honda Shadow Aero Cruiser) or baking sweet treats.

Ben Bryant as Johnny Jong Johnson


Ben Bryant plays the haughty British CEO of XiaoT North America, Johnny Jong Johnson (aka TRIPLE J), on “The Telecommuters.”

Ben grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  He is a baritone.  In 2010 Ben began seriously training as an actor through Nick Conti’s Professional Actor’s Studio, The Basement Theatre and other workshops in town.  He has since performed professionally in stage productions, commercials and independent films including a starring role in the upcoming zombie musical film, They Swim!

Ben is the first to volunteer for vocals in Rock Band.  A Leo, his favorite restaurant is constantly changing but is currently Five Guys Burgers and Fries.  Ben can't wait for Diablo 3 to come out.  He still owns a tube TV and he’s about to make the biggest commitment of his life...to a condo in Dunwoody, Georgia.
